Triac Regulator (Dimmer) 0-220V, 4000W - EX4000

Triac Regulator is used to regulate the supply voltage of AC loads. It is built on the basis of a symmetrical thyristor (triac) BTA41-800B, which allows voltages of the order of 600V and current up to 40A. However, the current implementation of the circuit allows currents up to 20A, which give an approximate power of around 4000W. Connection to the mains and the load is made via screw terminals. Connection must only be made by an experienced specialist, as it involves mains voltage. Output voltage regulation is achieved with a potentiometer, and a knob for it is included in the kit.
