Board specifications:
BTT SKR V1.4 Turbo is a microcontroller board designed for controlling 3D printers WITHOUT an additional adapter board. The board is optimized for building small to medium-sized 3D printers with extended functionality. It is based on the LPC1769 microcontroller, with a clock speed of 120MHz, 512kB flash and 64kB SRAM memory. Numerous signals for controlling the 3D printer are brought out to socket and pin headers. The board supports 5 stepper motor drivers (X, Y, Z, E0, E1) with dedicated output pins for the motors. The STEP, DIR, ENA signals can be taken from pin headers when using external drivers. Headers are provided for connecting endstops, along with filter circuits for proper triggering. Connectors for standard LCD screens are available. Screw terminals are provided for connecting 3 heaters (for extruders and heated bed), and 3 inputs for thermistors are brought out to headers for temperature control. Multiple standard 2-pin connectors for connecting fans are located on the board. Miniature LEDs allow checking of activated outputs – heaters and fans, as well as the presence of supply voltage. A RESET button is available for restarting the microcontroller board.
The following can be noted as extended functions:
· Connection of an SD card for firmware updates or for printing from it
· Connector for connecting a wireless wifi module – ESP01S
· Connectors for communication – SPI, I2C
· Connector for connecting RGB lighting
Power supply for the BTT SKR V1.4 Turbo is via the USB connector or from the screw terminals, selectable via a jumper. The screw terminal power supply is 12-24V.
Multiple signals are brought out to all headers, each of which can be seen on the bottom layer of the board, printed in white.
