SH-CL86BH closed-loop NEMA 34 driver

The SH-CL86BH controls two-phase NEMA 34 stepper motors with encoder feedback in a closed loop. Feedback monitors motion and enables the system to detect excessive position error under load.

• Command inputs: Pulse/Direction (Step/Dir), differential or single-ended wiring.
• Control signal level: 4.5–28 V.
• Maximum pulse frequency: up to 500 kHz.
• Configurable electronic gearing: up to 51,200 pulses per revolution.
• Position, speed and torque control modes.
• RS232 configuration using a compatible cable and software.
• Overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and excessive position-error protection.

Power supply and compatibility

The current batch is marked for a 20–80 VAC or 30–110 VDC supply. Follow the label and wiring diagram on the specific driver. Before commissioning, verify the permitted supply voltage, motor current, encoder pinout and controller signal levels.

Suitable for CNC machines, automation, positioning mechanisms and other applications using a feedback-equipped NEMA 34 motor. Cables, motor and configuration interface are selected separately for the specific system.
